REMINDER: Holiday Commission Queue OPEN!

Wed Nov 11, 2009, 9:52 AM
  • Mood: Christmas Spirited
  • Reading: Between books...
  • Watching: Lots of good stuff on the DVR
  • Playing: Pathfinder RPG and Wild West RPG
  • Eating: Lots of veggies!
  • Drinking: Water
Hi all! Remember that my holiday commission queue is only open until the end of this month - November 30! If you want something for sure by the yuletide, speak up now! :D I have four slots left. Naturally if there isn't a strict deadline on when you need your commission done, I can still take your name down and get to it as soon as I can.

I also must make the caveat that while I will do everything in my power to get commissions done in time, if my mom takes a turn for the worse, obviously my family needs to come first. I will keep everyone updated if anything like that happens.

As always, commissions must be paid for fully in advance (including the shipping costs!) via PayPal. I will consider a trade for something I truly NEED. I cannot work with animal fiber yarns due to my allergies.

:star: Commission Prices: :star:

Plushie Dice

d4 - $5
d6 - $6
d8 - $7
d10 - $8
set of two d10s (either percentile or two different d10s) - $15
d12 - $10
d20 - $12
Matched set of 7 - $45

(I have not yet posted pictures of the d12 and d20 because I am still working on them)

Dice Bags

In two colors (main and contrast) with two beads at the ends of the drawstrings - $30
If you want a larger bag, or one made with three colors, or one with more decoration, the cost will go up. If you want a smaller bag, or one with no beads, the cost will go down.

Covered Ball Ornaments

$8 each or 4/$25

Single Color Beanie Hats

I can make these in various styles. Price will vary with size of hat (I need a head measurement) and pattern, from $10 to $20. If you want more than one color in the hat, the price will go up.

Cunning Earflap Hats

For a manly-sized, multi-colored one like this, $40. Smaller hats, or single-color hats, will be less.

Standard Size Scarves (6" wide by 5-6' long)

With or without fringe, single color, $25.
Multiple colors, $30.
Longer scarves will cost more.

Muffler Scarves (9" wide by nearly 8' long)

With or without fringe, single color, $35.
Multiple colors, $40.

For afghans, the price will vary greatly based on the size, the pattern, and the yarn used. Due to time constraints I will only accept one afghan commission to be done in time for the holidays. Some ballpark estimates:

Baby Afghans

About 36" square, around $40.

Couch Throws

Perfect for snuggling up to watch TV. About 48" by 60" or about 60" square, around $75-$100.

Big Ass Afghans

Blanket-sized to cover a bed - $150 and up. (Please note that these take a fair amount of time to make, and they are heavy, so they are a pricier to ship.)

:star: Ready to ship items! :star:

In addition to commissions, I have the following items in stock and ready to ship. I have listed these items on Etsy for more exposure: [link] .

Scarlet and gold dice bag, $18.75 plus shipping.

Yellow and black dice bag, $18.75 plus shipping.

Green and silver dice bag, $18.75 plus shipping.

Set of four embroidered dinner napkins, $25 plus shipping.

10 assorted covered ball ornaments as pictured, $8 each, 4/$25, or all 10 for $60, plus shipping.

Please send me a note if you are interested in a commission or in purchasing any of my items, or even if you just have a question! Thank you! :D

 I'm so glad your mother is doing better and that you are able to relax your nerves about it for now.

I am gonna have to have that Silver and Blue scarf! :giggle: I should have gotten one from you last year like I thought I was going to do, but then I didn't and I can't even remember why. Is it tacky of me to ask here? Maybe I should note you instead. ^^;

Anyone who has one of your pieces will agree with me on this. And I just have to attest to this for the others who watch you who may be on the fence about whether they want to get something or not.

Ariel's work is REALLY beautiful and worth every penny! I can tell how much effort and time she puts into her craft just by the sturdy feel of everything I have that she's made. The stitching is so exact, meticulous and tightly done that the pieces she makes will last a long time. My dice bag that I have by Ariel has lasted wonderfully through the wear and tear of being shoved into my gaming bag with all my art supplies, game books and the like. It gets mashed and pushed around in there and I use it every week and it still looks as great as it did the day I received it! And her scarves! My green and silver scarf is so comfy and warm that I would wear it all year if the weather permitted! Not only is it beautiful, but it's 'movie' accurate, and works just as well for every day use as it does for a costume! :D
